Syrma

by Carolina de' Castiglioni

Federica Borlenghi, Director

Carolina de' Castiglioni, Playwright

Sýrma, in greek, means 'string.' In Ancient Greece, the world was believed to be predetermined, which meant that free will did not exist. Three women, the Moire, are responsible for each individual's life, represented by a string. Sýrma is a short play set in this kind of universe, where everyone has the illusion of being a decision-maker, while in reality, they are unable to choose their destiny. Everyone, except for one young woman.

The Girl with the Red Hair

by Anthony M. Laura

The Girl with the Red Hair tells the story of Hayley Jones, a young woman admitted into a psychiatric facility who slowly begins to lose her grip on reality, as she struggles to find her own sanity.

Light GreenMoss

by Molly Burdick

What do we choose to remember?

Do we cling to the good memories and bury the things that hurt us?

Caroline and Ronnie were happy together until something tears them apart.  Eight months later, they both end up at their beach rental and are stuck there together for two weeks, but something is off.

This is a play about letting go and moving on.  It is about digging up the shards of a broken past to sever the ropes that bind us to the memories we’ve constructed for ourselves.
